Chaska, Minnesota Real Estate

Chaska is located on the west side of Minneapolis-St. Paul in the County of Carver. It has seen a huge amount of growth in the last 10 years. It started out as a small town and has exploded since. As commerce has pushed its way out West the demand for new construction has continued to increase. Plus with the cost of some of the inner ring suburbs, Chaska is viewed as a very great alternative.

Chaska has a total landmass of 17.77 mi.² with an average population of around 26,000 people. It reflects the history and influence of the Native American culture. One of the sub cities of Chaska is Jonathan. It's almost like a small suburb inside of a suburb.

The school district is Carver County number 112 and it features Jonathan, Clover Ridge and Chaska elementary schools. The middle school is Pioneer Ridge, Chaska middle school East and Chaska middle school West. Most students go to Chaska high school but some of them due to boundaries attend Chanhassen high school.

As a real estate agent working in the Chaska area I have found that it has some of the best values of homes on the whole west side of town. It's very similar to Shakopee in that there's a lot of value and variety of homes. Chaska has become a very popular school district as well. Some of my clients have started out looking in Eden Prairie specifically because of the schools but it found that they like the housing so much better in Chaska. It's newer and you get so much more for your money. They've also then realized that the school system is fantastic. I highly recommend Chaska as an option for you on the west side of town.
