Chanhassen, Minnesota Real Estate

Chanhansen is located in Carver County and Hennepin counties in the state of Minnesota. It's a total of 22.88 mi.² and the estimated population is 25,332. There are three main highways running through Chan Hassan Highway 212, Highway five and Highway. 41 It's located on the west side of town about 30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Two of the biggest claims to fame for Chanhassen is the Chanhassen dinner theater which is been around forever, or so it seems to the most popular resident Prince and his Paisley Park studio.

Chanhassen is split between two school districts with most of the city in district 112 or the Chaska school district. Most students attend Chanhassen high school. The two middle schools are Chaska middle school West and Pioneer Ridge middle school. There are two elementary schools bluff Creek Elementary and Chanhassen elementary.

The top employers in the city are Rosemont Inc., lifetime fitness, and Supervalu. It has a lot of shopping as well as restaurants and other retail.

Many homebuyers like what the city has to offer because they're so much newer construction available. It still close to the city but considerably better priced than closer cities like Eden Prairie.

Selling homes in Chanhassen has been great because of how easy it is to get around in the city. Most of the home buyers that I represented started out looking in Eden Prairie. Many of them that have found that you get a lot more for your money in Chanhassen as well as Chaska. Both of these cities have really stepped up their game with their schools and are getting incredible reviews for academics. Many of my clients have had to balance buying a smaller split entry home in Eden Prairie for $300,000 that was built in 1980 or purchase a home that was built in the 2000s, with more square footage for around that same price tag. That's what made this suburb very attractive to many home buyers.
