Arden Hills is located 8 miles north of downtown Minneapolis as well as downtown St. Paul. It's located in Ramsey County and covers 9.4 mi.². It has an estimated population of 10,000 people in the city serves as a home to many large companies and smaller businesses. The city was incorporated in 1951 and has been increasing in size ever sense. Especially with the expansion in the 1960s of Interstate 35.

There are all types of homes for sale in Arden Hills in all price ranges. You can find them starting in the low $100,000. All the way up to $1 million homes. They have single-family homes, townhomes as well as condominiums. Some of the cities close to Arden Hills are Shoreview, new Brighton and little Canada. Many buyers like Arden Hills because of its proximity to downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. It's very close to Roseville which is the home of the Roseville shopping mall and 10 minutes to the state fairgrounds.

Arden Hills lies within the boundaries of the Moundsview school district 621 but some of the homes the far southeast corner of the city are in the Roseville school District number 623. Both school districts are award-winning academically and offer lots of different classes and open enrollment.

My experience as a real estate agent selling homes in Arden Hills is that it's an older neighborhood with that small town feel. A lot of the homebuyers that I've sold the house to in Arden Hills started their search in Roseville. They then expanded it to Shoreview in Arden Hills. Many of them have commented that they like the larger lots and the neighborhoods that Arden Hills has to offer.
