Roseville is located just north of St. Paul and East of Minneapolis. It's located in Ramsey County and it's one of the two Twin Cities suburbs that are adjacent to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. The other city is Lauderdale. Just to the south of Roseville is Falcon Heights which is a very sought after community because of its location to the Minnesota State fair and the quality and uniqueness of the neighborhood.
Roseville was incorporated in 1948 and has a total of 13.84 mi.². The is an estimated 35,000+ residents living in Roseville. Home buyers look to Roseville because of its convenience between Minneapolis and St. Paul as well as the variety in the homes it offers. There's plenty of retail businesses as well as other types of shopping located there too.
The Roseville area school district number 623 includes the following schools; Central Park elementary, Emmett D Williams elementary Brimhall elementary, Edgerton elementary, little Canada elementary and falcon Heights elementary. The middle schools which serve grade 7 and eight as well as the Roseville area high school which is nine through 12. Some of the higher education located in Roseville are, Minneapolis business college, the University of Northwestern St. Paul campus and national American University.
Most of the homes in Roseville were built in the 1950s and 1960s but you can find some newer homes as well. For the most part the city is completely built out so a lot of the homes are being remodeled as they come up for sale. Prices start in the mid-100,000s and go up from there. You can find single-family homes townhomes and even if you condominiums but it's mostly made up of single-family homes.
Roseville is always been a very popular city for me to sell homes in. I've spent a lot of time there and have gotten to know it very well. Many of the clients I have sold homes to in the Roseville area like it because of the location. They like being off of Highway 36, close to Roseville mall and really like the neighborhoods. The neighborhoods are older and the respect that they still have the larger lots so you can find really nice ramblers with huge backyards. That's a very appealing for young families. Plus it's a relatively quick commute to downtown Minneapolis that you can also cut across County Road 36 to get to Minneapolis. I also encourage my clients looking in Roseville to check out three other cities that are very similar and close to it, Little Canada, Shoreview and Arden Hills.
