Inver Grove Heights is a third ring suburb located south of Mendota Heights stretching from Highway 110 all the way down to Highway 52 and Highway 55. The city was created in 1965 and has been growing ever sense. They're expecting the population to exceed 44,000 by the 2020 census. The boundaries expand over 28 mi.² with lots of parks, golf courses community centers and retail. Inver Grove Heights is home to many different businesses as well as schools. It is located in the northern part of Dakota County and is very close to the Mississippi River Valley.
They're still continuing to build new construction as you read this because there's still a lot of land available. Inver Grove Heights is known for its stable community as well as the variety in real estate. You can find everything from single-family homes to townhomes and condominiums. Plus a lot of homebuyers are looking for acreage property for horses and other hobbies. Home start in the mid-150,000s and go up from there. You are about 15 minutes if that from the mall of America and the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport.
