In 1972 Andover was incorporated and has been growing ever since. Today the population of Andover is over 30,000. It's an outer ring suburb and some of the other cities close to it are could rapids and Blaine.

There are three elementary schools including crooked Lake Elementary, Andover Elementary and rum River Elementary there's one middle school, Oak view middle school and Andover high school. All of them are located within the city limits.
Over 50 new homes are constructed per year on average so there is more than enough new construction to choose from. However you can find all types styles and price ranges for residential homes in Andover. Including single-family homes, acreage properties, townhomes as well as condominiums. You are located north of Minneapolis by about 20 minutes. Many home buyers look to Andover because of the variety of homes and the value for your dollar compared to some of the inner ring suburbs.
My perspective on Andover is a real estate agent who works with buyers and sellers in the city is that once people move here they seem to really like it. There's a wide variety of homes for sale like I mentioned above and you can get newer construction as well as homes with larger lots. There's a lot of beautiful neighborhoods in all price ranges. I always show Andover to buyers who are looking on the north side because I've had such great success there.
